I like to think of myself as your big sister here on this blog and have always been honest about how much I’ve struggled with acne over the years – you’ve seen me cry in vlogs when my skin has flared up and you’ve seen me gush about products which have really made a difference with keeping those pesky blemishes at bay…
As you can imagine, I have pretty much tried every product on the market available to help active acne and prevent future breakouts, and I’m pretty sure you can also guess that most of them have been incredibly drying, expensive and also full of nasty ingredients. Well over the past month I’ve introduced some new natural skincare items into my regime and I wanted to rave about them to you here as they’re affordable, cruelty free, vegan friendly and have really helped to clear up my hormonal breakouts.
I’ve been a big fan of the Yes To brand for a while now having previously used the Yes To Cucumbers range (the wipes are always a must in my travel bag). But I was recently introduced to the Yes To Tomatoes range which is specifically designed to help combat oily and blemish prone skin.
I’m always weary of trying new products as my skin is SO acne prone and I’m petrified of it flaring up again, but they created this range using natural solutions for problem skin without the need for harsh chemicals.
The products contain lycopene from tomatoes alongside natural salicylic acid and detoxifying charcoal which work together to help protect the skin from toxins, repair the skin, act as a natural anti-inflammatory to help reduce flare ups, sloth away dead skin cells and deep clean the pores. Therefore reducing blemishes and clearing up breakouts without drying the skin and best of all – the brand is really affordable and easy to get your hands on the high street at Sainsbury’s, Boots, Beauty Bay and ASOS.
One of my favourite products from the range has to be the Detoxifying Charcoal SnapMASK Stick. Why ALL face masks don’t come in a twist up tube format I have no idea. Not only is it SO fun to apply but it’s not messy and allows you to be really precise when applying it. After pottering around for 5 minutes whilst letting the mask do it’s thing, my skin is left feeling really soft, plump and less inflamed.
The Blemish Fighting Paper Mask is of course a hoot to apply but also leaves my skin feeling revitalised and my skin texture a lot more even.
The Blemish Fighting Zit Zapping Dots are a real innovative way to individually target those pesky, stubborn spots.
One thing I loved about this range is that all products are proudly 95% natural (or more!), and as I mentioned, formulated without harsh chemicals, parabens or silicones. It is cruelty free and vegan friendly too!
Have you tried any Yes To products before?
Thanks so much to Yes To for sponsoring this post!
