Up next in my best of 2018 beauty round up – we have brow and eye products!
Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara
I would say that the biggest hype around a new beauty launch in 2018 was definitely this! The beauty community went a little wild trying to guess what their new out of this world product was and it didn’t disappoint. This might be my all time favourite mascara. It volumises and lengthens my lashes whilst also separating them, so no clumps in sight. I’m currently on my second tube and am so obsessed I have a back up in my stash already!
BareMinerals Gen Nude Eye Primer
I didn’t think I’d ever stray from the Urban Decay Eye Primer that I’ve been using for the past 11 years but it started irritating my eyes! I’m not sure if they changed the ingredients or my eyes got a little more sensitive after roaccutane, but I started getting eye eczema (which I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy) so had to say goodbye to my tubes! This primer however has completely taken it’s place – the Bare Mineral’s Gen Nude primers. I use the shade Bright and Flawless for a light cream everyday base but they also do them with a hint of colour – Woke is a warm orange which I adored in the summer months!
Urban Decay Petite Naked Heat Palette
2018 was the year of experimentation for me – I’ve always been scared to wear warm tones on my eyes for fear of looking like I’d have an eye infection (lol) but after getting my hands on the Naked Heat Palette I couldn’t get enough of orange, red tones. They make my blue eyes pop and this palette is perfectly handbag sized so great for daily use!
Soap and Glory Superliner (link)
I said goodbye to kohl pencil eyeliners in 2017 but totally not ready to ever get rid of liquid liners. I’ve tried A LOT of them, perhaps every available one on the UK beauty market and I can without a doubt say this one is one of the best. It’s affordable, precise, long wearing and the nib is just the perfect size. Highly recommend.
Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil
I think I got through about 5 of these brow pencils in the last year! It’s just fab in every way; the tiniest pencil for precision application, great colour selections available and has a spoolie on the other end. It’s love!
Hourglass brow gel
My brows are real bloody bushy and so along with a brow pencil, I’ve needed something to set them in place and fill in any remaining sparse gaps. This one from Hourglass does just the trick!
Collection Glitter Liner (link)
Lastly, because it has not left my handbag in the past two months – the Collection glitter eyeliner. Amazing for jazzing up any makeup look. It’s really pigmented, lasts ages on the eye and doesn’t irritate. I also always get compliments when I wear this (even the boyfriend loves it)!
Up next will be my favourite lip products from 2018! Stay tuned.
What were your favourite eye products of last year?

That eyeshadow palette is absolutely stunning!

I love the Hourglass brow gel, it makes my eyebrows look controlled-fluffy. I also can’t believe Collection still make these glitter eyeliners – I used to wear these to school when I was like 13!
