Stepping into Spring

With the weather warming up and the sun making the occasional cheery appearance, I’m taking full advantage of this welcome seasonal change by switching up my wardrobe to introduce some of my favourite spring items!  With just a couple of easy & affordable switches, with new streetwear from Deichmann (website here) and some new textures & fabrics, read on to see how I’m transitioning my wardrobe from Winter to Spring below!

Firstly, I’m ditching my usual chunky boots and replacing them with cute, easy to wear trainers.  These are from Deichmann; a store I can never resist popping into when visiting my local Westfield (they have so many great styles of shoes, I could easily spend hours in there).  Not only are they comfortable and go with pretty much any outfit but the floral embroidering makes them really on trend and adds a nice feminine touch!

Secondly, I’m saying goodbye to layers and instead choosing lace in the form of this off the shoulder top which I’ve had in my wardrobe for years (you don’t need to spend lots to feel confident this summer with your style).  Now it’s not quite warm enough (yet) for shorts and skirts just yet so I’m still favouring my highwaisted black jeans, a transitional piece everyone needs in their wardrobe!

Deichmann currently have a ‘The Street Is Yours’ campaign running and I’ve fallen in love with the messaging behind it – being confident in your style whilst out and about this summer.  I also find myself regularly checking their hashtag on Instagram (#thestreetisyours #deichmannloves @deichmann_uk) for street style inspo!

You can check out the trainers I’m wearing here and I’d love to know your top tips on transitioning from Winter to Spring too!  Let me know in the comments.

Love Katie
