H&M is one of my favourite stores on the highstreet – their clothes are affordable and there’s always something I’ve got my eye on, so when they launched their Homeware range I knew it would be dangerous!
It took me a while to actually place an order on their website but I found some absolute gems which I wanted to show you today.
Firstly I picked up a glass vase (you can never have too many vases, right)? I adore it as it reminds me of a science lab with it’s shape & the text on the front. Unfortunately it doesn’t hold many flowers as the neck is so thin but I’ve been using it to dry out some beautiful roses & gypsophila.
I also picked up a little tea light holder in the same glass style with the scientific text on it. When I was little instead of being a ballerina or a pop star, my dream was to be either a detective or a scientist making potions so these additions on my desk make my inner child very happy.
(FYI, now I’m older I’ve come to realise that one of my dream jobs would to be a cosmetics scientist, creating perfumes to be specific. I can’t imagine anything more incredible than being a perfumer and the ‘nose’ for fragrances).
I also picked up a printed marble mug and ceramic chopping board. These were with the intention of holding makeup brushes & displaying jewellery/makeup rather than being used in the kitchen and i love them both!
As I said, I purchased these online, but I also visited the store in Westfield and want to say I really wasn’t terribly impressed. Apart from metal wire baskets I wanted, there wasn’t anything that particularly stood out to me and Andrew was huffing and puffing at everything I picked up (shopping with boys, eh)! Hopefully I’ll have a better in store experience next time!
Have you ever picked up anything from H&M? What’s your fav highstreet home store?

The chopping board is so gorgeous, would make such a good blogging prop! Wish I had a H&M Home near me, I'd much rather shop instore than online 🙁 xx

That vase is beaut! *adds to shopping list* HRW
I love H&M clothing, but H&M only arrived in Australia recently so we don't have access to H&M Home. I wish we did though, everything looks so great from what people get from there !

I absolutely love H&M and my local store – nearly an hour away – is usually okay for having key pieces in. But whenever I go away I jump at the chance to go to a bigger store, and usually they don't have anything in that you'd actually pick up! Such a waste to have such a lovely store without all the better products in. I found the European stores (outside of UK) to be a much wider range & better quality then anywhere in England! Lovely post!

Love the H&M home range, love what you have picked too! I really love Zara Home too, they do some amazing things, not as cheap as H&M though!

I haven't yet picked up anything from H&M home, however judging by this post they seem to have some gorgeous pieces. I love Next home and I have bought about 1/3 of the stuff in my bedroom from there, it can be quite pricey but I love their designs and the quality is great.

The glass vase is definitely something I would pick up, even if it doesn't hold many flowers. It still looks gorgeous though x

I like the new marble trend 🙂 I prefer dark marble though.
Love your taste Katie!!

I love that vase! It looks so vintage. I think it would also look pretty cool with a long thin candle in, then when it burns the wax will melt down the sides 🙂
I love the bits you got! H&M has some lovely home bits! I have a wishlist on my blog of all the bits I'm planning to get from there soon!
