REVIEW & SWATCHES: L’Oreal Paris L’Extraordinaire Lip Glosses!

There has been a lot of hype in the beauty world in the past year around liquid lipsticks and as you know I’m a massive fan.  L’Oreal are one of the most recent to take on the challenge of creating a liquid lip colour and so here are the swatches & reviews!

I have to say these beauties contain the perfect balance of pigment and moisture which is a massive bonus for me.  Some liquid lippies leave my lips so dry and highlight any dry skin or imperfections, where as these feel like a soft balm on my lips with a hint of shine.  Also the colour pay off is lovely as you can see in the pictures above.

#301 Rouge Soprano – This is a gorgeous red shade. It looks slightly darker in the bottle but on the lips it’s an easy to wear postbox red.

#401 Fuschia Drama – This is my least favourite of the bunch but only because I never wear pink lipsticks!  I know it’ll suit a whole bunch of people with it’s fuschia pink tones.

#600 Nude Vibrato – This is my favourite of the three; a pale nude which really flatters my pale skin.  I thought I’d look a little ghostly wearing this but it’s actually stunning and really easy to wear.  Plus it looks gorgeous with smokey eyes!

The only negative is that they don’t last for very long on the lips, tending to fade after drinking and eating but their soft, furry, bullet applicator makes it a pleasure to apply!

These are available from highstreet stores for £8.99!  I now desperately want to pick up shade 204 which is a bright orange red, very similar to my favourite red lipstick MAC’s Morange.

Are you part of the new liquid lipstick craze?

I really like that first red shade! I like these liquid lipsticks, feels like a nice mixture of lipgloss and stick! I have some older L'Oreal liquid lipsticks and I really like them.

They look very pretty on you, probably a bit too glossy for me. I love the Bourjois ones because they're more matte! xx

Rouge Soprano looks gorgeous! I've been hesitant to try liquid lipsticks because some of them can be quite full-on (like the Bourjois Rouge Velvets) but these look glossy enough to satisfy my taste 🙂

I have one of these in a really pretty rosy shade but I have to say that nude is gorgeous! And I am actually a pretty big fan of liquid lipsticks–something about them just appeals to me.

All three colours really suit you ! That's a shame about the lasting power of the lipsticks, the color's pigmentation is amazing 🙂
