The other day I applied my usual liquid liner makeup routine, but fancied doing something a little different! Enter the new Rimmel Scandaleyes Cream Eyeshadow!
Products used –
Bobbi Brown Longwear Even Finish Compact Foundation
Rimmel Scandaleyes Precision Micro Eyeliner
Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Paint in Mercury Silver
YSL Babydoll Faux Cils Mascara
Avon Supershock Gel Liner in Black
HD Brows Kit
Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow
Sleek Lipstick in Barely There
After doing my usual eye makeup I decided to draw a thin line of the new Rimmel Scandaleyes Cream Eyeshadow Paint in Mercury Silver above my black gel liner. This is a intensely pigmented creamy shadow which can be patted on to the eyes and blended out to make a nice base or used as above, a slight line of colour above my usual liquid liner.
It’s a really simple look but I love it, I think it’s really striking as people might not initially notice the hint of silver until you blink or close your eyes – easy yet effective!
There are 5 more shades in the range, including a purple and golden brown both of which would also work gorgeously (swatches and full reviews coming very soon)!
What are your thoughts on this simple liner look? Do you like to experiment with eyeliner shades?

Love the lipstick!

Silver liner sounds like a brave one but looks gorgeous. I'm pretty boring and flick between black brown or nude but would love to try out something like this!

That cream eyeshadow paint looks interesting! I love the way you applied it above the black eyeliner – looks gorgeous on you!

This is such a beautiful look! I wear winged liner everyday but have never really experimented using other eyeliner colours with the black – thanks for the inspiration, will dig out some coloured eyeliners for tomorrow 🙂

I love the idea of wearing two different liners! Looks lovely. I may try this with eyeshadows as I only have black liners.

So Pretty! Love this x
I do enjoy using colored eyeliner every once in a while though metallic isn't something I've tackled yet! I do like the look of a pretty bronze eyeliner though so I've been thinking of giving that a try. This is a great look 🙂

Looks great! Love the silver.
It looks gorgeous! I used a silver-grey eyeliner the other day but solo and it took me quite some time to like it, being used to black eyeliners only. But this look seems perfect to have the best of both worlds and slowly get more into the topic of non-black eyeliners.

I love how simple this look is, and really lets your eyes do most of the talking. I'd be really interested in the purple color, as I have green eyes and like how purple makes my eyes look.
This is fantastic! I love wearing funky colors and bright metallics, so this is right up my street! Will definitely have to give the Rimmel products a look next time I pop over to the store! x

This looks great! I doubt I'd be able to do it though – getting my eyeliner right takes me an age! Xo
