When I think of Christmas beauty gifts I automatically think of Front Cover – they are ideal for girls who are just getting into makeup and want to experiment a little more! I fell in love with the True Colour kit once I laid eyes on it so here is what I think of it in detail.
This kit includes everything you need to create a variety of looks this autumn – 6 domed baked powder eye shadows, 5 satin powder eye shadows, 5 lip glosses, two nails polishes, an eye pencil with a smudger, a double ended mascara, a rounder shader brush, a mini blender brush and a lip brush.
I love that the kit includes all brushes you need to create a look as well as an eyeliner and mascara – you literally have everything in one kit. The eye shadows are just beautiful – so soft and have velvety and shimmery textures which are super easy to apply. The lip-glosses are also surprising, being very creamy and full of colour so you can create a multitude of looks.
Now, you might have heard that Frontcover is now no longer sold in Boots stores! I was pretty shocked when I heard this as it’s my number one place to go to browse these kits. They are now only sold online at their website and in Sephora stores (which we unfortunately have none of in the UK – come here Sephora!). I do think this is a real shame because I like to see products, especially makeup, in real life before I purchase anything so now I guess we’ll all just have to rely on reviews and swatches before we make a decision on whether to buy or not!
Are you a fan of Front Cover kits? What do you think of the move from Boots – will you still purchase?

I've never heard of this brand before. Looks quite nice!
I love the "Eclipse" lip colour. So pretty and natural. I got one last year from a relative which included some a really pretty dark shimmery navy/black eyeshadow and a matching liner which I still use to this day. They can be a bit hit and miss though. Such a shame that Boots have stopped selling them! I hate buying things before I've seen them in person 🙁 x

I wouldn't ever really buy one or myself to use daily, but I do think they make a great Christmas gift and if I did receive one I would use it, if that makes any sense! The brushes look good and the colours are gorgeous
