Clarins Everlasting Foundation Before & After!

Another foundation review for you today – I’m rolling them out at the moment!  I’ve wanted to try this foundation for quite a long time, after I saw just how pale their shade range went.  As you know I find it extremely difficult to find foundations that are pale enough for my skin, but I knew the moment I saw this that’d it’d be perfect!

CLARINS
Wearing the foundation!

Colour: I have both the shades 103Ivory & 104 Nude in my possession, but 103 is my go-to (and the one I am wearing in the photographs above).  It is super pale but still manages to make my skin look glowing and vibrant (and matches my neck perfectly).  The photographs above don’t really do it justice; in real life this looks beautiful on my skin.

Formula/Texture: This has such a gorgeous silky feel, it glides on the skin and as it is so light, it blends flawlessly with a buffing brush.  I find it quite pigmented but it blends out evenly leaving you with a natural coverage, whilst still managing to cover any imperfections and blemishes.  This has quite a distinct smell to it which fades quickly after applying and doesn’t bother me at all.  This is also ‘oil-free’, perfect for those combination skinned-gals.

Price: This retails at £26 per bottle.  Quite a big price tag but I would definitely re-purchase!

SPF: Contains an SPF 15 – perfect!

What I Think: This is the foundation I reach for when I want a natural yet flawless looking base.  I find it hassle-free, easy to apply and perfect for that dewy glow look.  As for it’s ‘Everlasting’ title, I find that it isn’t neccersaily ‘ever-lasting’, but I do feel like it wears really well and almost looks better the longer I’ve had it on.  I normally apply this around 7am in the morning, and by 10am my skin has the most beautiful, dewy glow which lasts up until around 3pm (when I need to cover up imperfections and blot).  All in all, it’s a thumbs up from me!

Have you tried this foundation? What are your thoughts?

Great review! I'm so tempted, but it's expensive and I only usually get on with full coverage foundations, mainly mousses. Do you think it would work with oily skin?

This is my holy grail foundation! I have quite bad acne scars and hyper pigmentation and will always repurchase this as it gives me the best coverage!
If you'd like to see how it works on very blemished skin, my post is here: http://thebeautyspotbloguk.wordpress.com/2014/04/14/my-acne-journey-how-i-cover-my-scarring-and-redness/

Ohh this looks good! I have really pale skin and I find foundation sinks in really quick too so 'Everlasting' could go very far, if only I were made of money! Xx

This looks like such a gorgeous foundation! It makes your skin look amazing and it's got good coverage. I also struggle to find a foundation that suits my pale skin. I think I may have to try this out.

Katie your new homepage photo is stunning, I just love your new hair colour! I've tried this foundation and it doesn't disappoint but for some reason I always find myself gravitating more towards Estee Lauder's double wear!

Looks like a lovely foundation! Usually when I'm in my palest state, I find that the light foundations I use make my scars look purple/brown in a way. Love the before and after pic, I find it too that's it's hard to make the product justice just by showing photos.. but you did it good! 🙂 x

Oooh Katie, this foundation looks perfect for me! I currently use Armani's Luminous Silk foundation which I absolutely love though I think it makes me look a tad yellow (I cover that up with powder, haha)! I'll definitely have to give this a try.

It looks like the perfect shade for me. As you mentioned it's so hard to find the pale foundations, most "Ivory" colours are just a fraction too dark!

Looks good and definitely something I will look into buying from the images – your skin looks great!

How do you apply it? With a beauty blender, brush, or fingers? I have dry skin so I was hoping this foundation would work well with a damp beautyblender. If anyone knows, please let me know here. Thanks
