Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge!

I recently trotted my way down to an event held by Bobbi Brown to celebrate this year’s Pretty Powerful launch.  The Pretty Powerful range is out to inspire women and to make them feel comfortable and beautiful in their own skin.

After meeting up with Zoe & Lily and sipping on some Mojito’s we had a little play with the new Bobbi Brown Lip & Cheek Pot Rouge which is absolutely stunning.  I love cream blushers for Spring/Summer to give you that fresh, dewy look and this shade is perfect for doing just that.  It is also universally flattering and looks beaut on all skin tones (it’s very buildable if you want a more intense colour).  I’d describe this as a plummy pink, with subtle peach undertones.   As you all know, I adore multiuse products, so the fact that this product can be used on both lips and cheeks makes it a handbag essential in my opinion!

Accompanying the gorgeous Pot Rouge is the Pretty Powerful book.  I can’t resist a good coffee table book, and this one, filled with hints, tips and makeover before & afters on all skin tones and all ages, makes a lovely read.  After just a flick through it’s pages, my head was brimming with inspiration of looks I wanted to try out!  The book also contains some really inspiring stories from some beautiful women, motivating the reader to feel confident and radiant within themselves!

The book retails at £15.99 and the Pot Rouge is £18.  What’s best is that Bobbi Brown donates 100% of the £18 spent on the Pot Rouge straight to the charity, Dress to Success.  So your technically treating yourself and giving to charity at the same time!  No shoppers guilt/buyers remorse after this, ladies!

Are you a Bobbi Brown Makeup fan?  Will you be giving the Pot Rouge a try?

I never tried anything from Bobbi Brown, then again their products are not necessarily cheap. But hopefully one day I will be able to try some of their stuff 🙂

This looks lovely, I'm always scared of cream blushes though, as my skin is oily 🙂

I really want to get my hands on both of these. I love the color of the blush and I think the book would be a fantastic read. Thanks for reaffirming that it really is worth the money.

That's great that 100% goes to charity, you don't see companies do that often! Such a gorgeous shade.

That blush looks so rosey, does it go onto skin easily? I've tried cream blush before and didn't get on with it.
