Bourjois 1 Second Magic Nail Polish Remover!

Never before have I EVER found a product that has made my life that little bit easier, than this!  Ladies, I introduce you to a product that you will not regret buying – the new Bourjois Magic 1 Second Nail Polish Remover.

POLISHREMOVER
REMOVER2

When I first saw this at the Bourjois event a few weeks ago, my first reaction was ‘borrrring’, but after trying it for the first time I absolutely fell in love. This makes taking nail varnish off SO easy and SO quick that I’ve been changing my nail colour every day! Normally I’m a little lazy and will wear a nail polish for a week before taking off and reapplying a different shade, but not since owning this bad boy.  It literally now takes me under a minute to remove nail polish from both of my two hands.

This little pink pot contains a black sponge with a hole in the middle and is filled with a ‘Nourishing Sweet Almond Oil’ nail polish remover which is acetone and paraben free.  You simply stick your finger/nail in the hole, give it a twist about for maybe four seconds and voila – your nail is completely clear and polish free.  It really is such a simple idea that I don’t know why it hasn’t been done already!

One of my favourite things (apart from how quick it is to use) is the smell of the polish remover.  Normally nail varnish removers stink – but this has a delicious red fruit and vanilla fragrance when used so your fingers smell sweet after using.  Another thing I love is that fact that I do not need to now buy cotton wool.

Something I would say is it does take a little more work to remove glitter polishes (maybe 30 seconds for each nail) but that is so quick and easy in the scheme of things (normally it takes me about 15 minutes to remove glitter polish from all of my fingers) that it doesn’t bother me.

This magic product hits stores TOMORROW & will be available in Boots and Superdrug for only £3.99.  Bargain.  I’ve been using this a lot over the past month and it is still going strong so I’m positive I will get another at least three months use out of it.  Not bad for £3.99!

Will you be getting this new magic remover?  What do you currently use to remove your nail polish?

xxxx

This HAS been done already- it used to be all the rage about ten years ago. I remember my mother using these pots all the time! Glad Bourjois is bringing them back, they're so good/easy!

  10. April 17, 2012 / 3:56 pm

I was worried it would be a bit gimmicky – the type of product that dries out after the first use but it actually sounds great! I'll definitely be picking this up asap x

god that seems amazing! does it work on glitter nail varnishes as well? ive stopped wearing glitters because of the almighty effort to remove, but if this works on them too… brilliant.
hope boots is still doing 3 for 2 on everything so i can justify a tiny splurge too!

i have seen things like this before in savers, but they are always so stinky. i really want to try this but the sponge will probably eventually get dirty which is annoying 🙁

This looks really good! I have the PrettyQuik version of this and loved it but found it to be really damaging/harsh on the nails. This looks a lot better with the almond oil and all.. might just have to give this ago. 🙂 x

I'm positive this *has* been done before, I remember having something similar many moons ago. Haven't got a clue what the brand was though 😉

  26. April 17, 2012 / 8:19 pm

This looks amazing! I hate taking nail varnish off so this sounds right up my street 🙂

  27. April 17, 2012 / 8:37 pm

Over here on in the US, we have a product pretty similar, Sally Hansen polish remover jars. Target also has a scrubbing jar with more firm plastic-y bits that scrub glitters off quite well! Though nothing smells like vanilla or fruit, I'm afraid.

I had the pretty quik one of these years ago, the sponge eventually went all black and everytime i tried to use it my whole finger came out a different colour from the left over polish, so i think there only meant to be used a few times.

  29. April 18, 2012 / 10:59 am

Actually it has been done already by a lot of brands, one of them being SEPHORA. Also OPI has one.

Once the polish dries up/runs out do you have to fill it up with your own polish remover? 🙂 xo Great idea and will deff be looking out for this in stores!
