PIXI Beauty store in Carnaby Street!

On Wednesday I made my way down to Carnaby street, where I stopped off at the Pixi store (22a Fouberts Place) for the launch of their new Tinkerbell Disney range.  I had never been to the store before but I am so glad I have now discovered it, it’s an absolute treasure trove of beautiful Pixi products!

Warning – quite picture heavy!

Treats on the night!

The whole store is lined with high shelving units, filled with beautiful products in adorable packaging.  Everything in the store is displayed to perfection!

Had to take a photograph of these powders as it looks like they have a really good colour range available.

3

Words can not describe how much I want these palettes right now – how perfect are they for every day use?!  I need them in my life!

Another absolutely gorgeous product which I’m craving.  The left side is for the cheeks and the right side is all eye shadows – again, perfect for travelling and a gorgeous selection of easy to wear shades.  Also love the light cardboard packaging.

WANT!

One of the best things about this store is the incredible selection of nail polishes!
The POP shades are absolutely gorgeous ranging from neon peaches to glitters and the Pixi shades are beautifully girly and perfect for spring/summer!

6

Lip Twins & Eye Crayons & Kohl pencils.  All of the kohl pencils seem incredibly pigmented and soft – as shown in the swatch photograph.  Perfect for adding a hint of colour to your eyes!

I know that I haven’t actually included ANY of the LE Tinkerbell range in this post, but its only because I am so overwhelmed with Pixi’s permanent products!  I can’t believe that I hadn’t heard of the brand before and I will definitely be purchasing an eyeshadow palette or two.

I will be posting about the Tinkerbell collection very soon and will also include a FOTD wearing the range so you can see how it looks on the skin!

You can buy or browse Pixi products online at – http://www.pixibeauty.co.uk/index.html or in the Flagship store at 22a Fouberts Place.

Have you heard of or bought anything from Pixi before?  What catches your eye most in this post (apart from the cupcakes, haha!)?

xx

I adore Pixi products, and always find it a pleasure to visit the shop in Carnaby street – the girls there are so helpful! I can highly recommned the Tint and Conceal Tinted moisturiser…it's super natural looking and absolute perfect for those hot summer days where you don't want to be slapping on foundation. The lightest shade (unfortunately it only comes in 3 or 4 shades) is a wee bit too dark for me in winter, but perfect for summer.

haha yeah I've used Pixi before, a fan of their lip blushes – they come in a better range of colours for lip stains!

the succulent lip twins and nail polishes caught my eye though!

I live in Los Angeles and discovered Pixi in Target stores (similar to Tesco or ASDA, I'm told). They're fairly pricy, as drug store brands go, but I bought a few eyeshadow palettes, the cheek stain, and the tinted primer from Target. I watched Petra's videos on YouTube and discovered her sister, Sara, had a makeup called POP. Through POP's facebook page, learned that once a year, in my area, there is a warehouse sale where Pixi and Pop products are sold at 90% off! I went to one of the sales a couple years ago and spent $40 (about £25) on a *lot* of makeup, and it would have cost me ten times that much in a store! I recently found POP brand in ULTA, which thrilled me so much I immediately purchased the translucent powder and a gorgeous bright pink lip gloss. It makes me really happy that even when I can't make it to the warehouse sales, I can still buy the makeup in stores.

I like Pixi and POP because I really favor pastels and light neutrals as a I grow older, but I do still go out now and then to enjoy a night on the town, and sometimes need something more dramatic! And I absolutely LOVE that the sisters create makeup that has ingredients which are actually GOOD for your skin!

I'm really jealous for all you Brits who have access to the full line in stores! Target and ULTA carry a limited selection, and the warehouse sales are only to get rid of overstock and items about to be discontinued. At least I have the internet, so I can buy from the website if there's something I *really* want. 🙂

I haven't been to that shop in a while, but a couple of years ago they had an amazing sale and I bought one of their sheer spf 15 lispticks for about £1! Don't know why I didn't get more things! (Prob cos I wasn't so bothered about make up back then..) I also found one of their gel liners in Jade, a really dark green, in TKmaxx recently for £2.99. Oh I have a little palette as well, has lovely shades of green but I find them too sparkly (chunky glitter that gets everywhere) so I rarely use it. The liptick and liner are great though!

I love both Pixi & Pop (- Pixi's sister company).

Oh & those cupcakes look delish!

& the store on off Carnaby is great, all the girls in the store are really helpful & lovely.

I'd recommend their eye liners which are gorgeous (& to me on par with the UD 24hr liners), also they have gorgeous neutral/nudes eye shadows, their lip products are great too for those who like a natural or pretty lip look.

But my favourite product is actually from their sister brand & is their brilliant nail polishes aptly named Nail Pops – & if your a fan of glitter you definitely need to try their Hologram Nail Pops (the ones in your first 2 pics of polishes) I own all of them & they look so stunning & I always receive a tons of compliments when sporting one of the shades.

Also you can get a few bits & bobs of Pop & Pixi products (including the Tinkerbell Range & Nail Pops) from ASOS who also have free delivery.
