NEW YEAR’S EVE: ASOS OUTFIT IDEAS!

Can you believe New Year’s Eve is tomorrow?  It only feels like yesterday I was popping open a bottle of Asti (don’t judge, I’m obsessed) to welcome in 2016.

If you have plans for tomorrow night and are stuck for outfit suggestions, I thought I’d put together my ASOS picks (their next day delivery is a lifesaver)!

Full On Glam

This is the dress of my dreams!  Low back and front, short sleeved and covered in copper and gold sequins.  And best of all girls, it’s currently on sale for ONLY £19 – I’m happy for you (but secretly wreathing inside that I paid the full price of £65 for it)!

I wore this to the British Online Creators Award ceremony and, you guessed it, felt like an absolute goddess!  It’s slightly itchy (so those spanx or high waisted knickers might be a great option to save an itchy midrift) but worth it for the way it sparkles so beautifully in the light.

I absolutely can’t wait to wear this again, I’m just waiting on the right occasion now 😉

 The Tailored Look

I don’t think I’ve ever worn a tailored outfit for a social event in my life, but I saw this burgundy red matching suit on asos and knew I had to invest.  To give it a party feel, I teamed it with a white lace body from Boohoo (you might want to add some nipple covers into your basket as it is a little see-through) but it also adds a soft, feminine touch to the look.  I also rolled the trousers up to make it a little more casual and added my nude stiletto heels (New Look) to complete the look.

I can’t express to you how much of an absolute babe I feel when I wear this outfit – sassy, confident and in control and it’ll be one of my staple looks for 2017.

Sequin Embellishments

This is one of my current favourite party dresses and it’s already seen two big social events with me this Christmas.

It’s navy blue with a stunning low back and gold, floral, sequin embellishments which make it just perfect for NYE.

The cap sleeves also move beautifully on the dance floor, with it’s sheer, flutter material.

I should also mention I get so many compliments when I wear this – love it!

The Gift

As soon as I saw this dress on ASOS I just had to get it – it reminds me of a christmas present with it’s  festive red shade, extremely low back & bow detailing.

This is extremely figure hugging which makes me feel so womanly, accentuating my curves and it also is sure to make any bottom look incredible.

I purchased some spanx (no point hiding the truth) to wear with this particular outfit although I’m not wearing them in the pictures above so you kind of get a feel for how the dress will look without them.

Again,  I’ve gone braless for this look as to not take away from the beauty of the low back, so nipple covers could also be an option!

I really, really hope you liked this post.  It was incredibly fun to put together and shoot with the incredible Kyle Galvin (check out more of his work here).
Do let me know which of these outfits is your favourite and I’d love to hear what you’re doing for NYE this year too.

I’ll be back next year (absolutely mental to say that!) with my 2016 round up post.

Lots of love to all of you,

Katie x
