REVIEW: Benefit Operation Pore-Proof Kit

Introducing the new Operation Pore-Proof from Benefit!  I swear they make the cutest little kits and gift boxes and this is no exception!

This is perfect for those who suffer from oily skin and want a little bit of added protection throughout the day to help their skin stay matte and their makeup on for longer.
It includes miniatures of 5 of their products, the perfect handbag and travelling sizes.

Pore-Fessional Primer: This primer needs no introduction as it already has a cult following in the blogging world so I’m happy I now have a mini size for my makeup bag!

Pore-Fessional License To Blot: I love this new product – it’s almost like a little prit-stick (without the glue!) which you can wipe over your T-Zone to instantly blot.  Full review coming soon.

PoreFessional Agent Zero Shine:  Simply tap this powder into the lid, swirl with your brush and buff into the skin for an instantly matte complexion.

Dr Feelgood: I think this must have been the first Benefit product I EVER tried when I was around 17!  I haven’t used it since but remember loving it – it’s a velvety balm that removes shine and leaves you with super soft skin.  You can wear it under or over makeup which makes it the perfect handbag accessory!

Shy Beam: This is possibly my favourite out of the bunch and it’s only currently available IN this kit!  Shy Beam is a matte version of High Beam which looks so pretty on the skin, leaving you with a  natural looking glow.  I hope they realise a full size version of this soon!

This kit retails at £28.50 and is available online and in Benefit stores/counters!  If you haven’t tried any of these products before it might be a good idea to invest in this and try them out to see what works best for your skin, and this also makes a lovely gift for Benefit fans!

What’s your favourite mattifying beauty product?

My absolute favourite mattifying beauty product would be the affordable mattifying CC powder from Catrice 🙂

I just love the look of all the Benefit miniature kits, but I always have to tell myself to 'put that down!' as i'm not much for beauty on the go and prefer full sized products! I have the porefessional primer, but I don't really think it is much more effective than the Rimmel and Revlon primers I have used in the past. I have gigantic pores and was hoping that it would do the trick, but no such luck! 🙁 Lovely post!xx

The temptation to snap this up right now! I've been eyeing up the full sized versions of Pore-fessional and Dr Feel Good for a while but my skin is so temperamental and reactionary, I scared myself out of splashing out the cash. Thank you for reviewing this, you are an absolute star! x

This is something that we all go through in one way or another. The information on this kit is dead on and seems to match what is needed. Will be looking into these kits.
