REVIEW: Rimmel Brow Gel Mascaras

Although brows are very in at the moment,  it's still important to keep them looking natural and not too OTT.  That's where tinted brow gels have excelled and become very popular.

There are an abundance of them available on the high street now but I wanted to talk about the Rimmel Brow This Way Gel's today!

There are 3 tinted shades available - Blonde, Mid-Brown and Dark Brown, as well as a clear brow gel for those whose brows just need a little general upkeep!

I've found the Dark Brown is the most suited for my brows - the others are quite light and red based (I'd prefer if they were all a little more muted).  Because of this, it's important not to over apply the product so I've found to sweep the wand against the side of the product before applying leaves you with a much more subtle, but build-able coverage.

On the days I don't have much time to get ready in the mornings, these are what I've been reaching for.  They are super easy to use, just sweep through the brows in the direction of hair growth to set in place all day.

They are available in Boots & Superdrug stores for £3.99 each. - affordable and easy to find!

Have you ever tried a tinted brow gel?  What's your fav?

  4. Plain hair gel works just as well, I've been using it for years.

  5. I quite like this product as well, although it is quite small. It keeps the hairs in place and gives a hint of thickness to the brows :)

  6. I really don't like mine but maybe it's because I went for mid-brown instead of dark!
    I didn't realise there was a darker shade x

  10. I bought the dark brown one recently and only use it for a more dramatic look for nights out etc but I might try brushing some off on the side because I love this product. It's super quick to apply but it can be a bit too much for me for day wear.

  17. Hey girls (and guys?!)

Just want you to know that I am new to blogging and i'd love to meet other fellow bloggers! If you feel like it i'd appreciate any feedback on my blog about how it is doing or about how I could improve it. My last posts have been about Christmas! As for some unknown reason I am like buddy the elf at the moment! Haha, however not all my posts will be Christmas related, they will most definitely be varied. One of my more popular posts was about mental health, which you can read here: http://aliciasaphron.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/mental-health-awareness.html
Anyways I hope you are all having a wonderful day :D

  19. So glad to this, I see the brush is already better than the maybellines brush.

  20. I tried the benefit one this year and whilst it was good I thought it was way overpriced for what it is. £4 for a brow gel, is way cheaper and it has a better shade selection too. x
