Look of the Day–CKone Eyeshadows!

I’ve started getting into the habit of photographing the makeup I’m wearing daily for the blog.  I’m pretty good with my makeup and do tend to switch things up on a regular basis, making sure I make the most out of the products I own (for example I tend to wear a different foundation, powder, mascara daily)!  This is one of the looks I’ve worn recently, using two new CK one eyeshadows!

CKONE LOOK OF THE DAY1CKONE LOOK OF THE DAY2CKONE LOOK OF THE DAY

This look is really simple and easy to do.  It just consists of running the palest shade (Ambitious) all over the eye, right up to the brow bone and then blending the darker shade (Fearless) into the crease of the eye to add a touch of colour & smokyness and to open the eyes up.  Then I applied the usual liquid liner flick on the top lash line and smudged kohl pencil under the lower lash line (using two products from the L’Oreal Superline range) and finished the look with lashings of mascara (I used a Chanel one I’ve just got my hands on)!

This is the basic look that I wear most days to work but just switch up the products I use to create it!  The CK one shadows are available from Debenhams for £12 a pop and they have the most gorgeous colour range available.  The ones I’ve tried are super pigmented and can be used wet or dry for a subtle or more striking look!

Do you switch up your products on a daily basis? Would you like to see more daily looks?

I usually wear the same look everyday. Just a light color on the lid and brow bone and then blending a beigey/brown/gold color on the corners of the lid and blending it out and then applying eyeliner! I like to wing my eyeliner down to get more of a dolly/droopy look to my eyes. ^3^ But anyways, the look you did is cute! The colors look really nice. ^^

Those eyeshadows look great on you. Even though the eyeshadow look is very easy to do it still looks great and very polished looking. Very beautiful :).

I love your post. I have just qualified in my NVQ for make up and ive always found it hard to keep to one essential set of products. Being mad on make up i love experimenting. I must have 2 make up bags full. Do you or anyone have any tips on how i could down size my make up?
