Magnifibres Lash Review–before & after!

The thought of putting fibres anywhere near my eyes used to terrify me (I’m really squeamish when it comes to eye-balls & have only recently mastered using eye drops).  That was until I heard about this rather unique beauty product…
magnifibres1magnifibres2MAGNIFIBRES BEFORE AND AFTER2

I should start off by saying that I despise wearing false eyelashes; they itch, it takes ages to learn how to apply and perfect them and they are generally uncomfortable so when I heard about Magnifibres I was intrigued.  I adore having long eyelashes and have tried multiple lash growth products in the past (none with miraculous results).
The idea of Magnifibres is that they build up a layer of ‘fibres’ for your mascara to latch onto, leaving you with long, lengthy lashes.  To use, you apply a coat of your usual mascara and whilst still wet, sweep some of the fibres straight on to your lashes.  Leave them to sit for a minute and the apply another coating of your mascara and voila – you have sultry lashes to flutter away!

It took a while to get used to these and I’ve found that some mascaras work better than others but now I adore them and use it most days!  I can also say that I’ve experienced no itching or flake-iness with these either, making them a pleasure to use!
Would you try Magnifibres? What’s your favourite lash lengthening product?

The thing about this is that I'm afraid of what can happen when you remove your makeup… I don't know, for some reason I think that I will lose all my lashes… For the time being, I will continue with my regular mascara routine ^,^

Wow, what an amazing idea! I absolutely hate false eyelashes too, I would definitely give these a go. They look so much more natural.

I'm so much like you in that I get so squeamish when it comes to anything eye-related. Only I still haven't found a way to apply eye drops, if you've ever seen Rachel in the Friends episode with the eye drops that'd pretty much me!

These look so interesting though and your lashes look great after, where can you buy these from?

fibre mascaras have always frightened me a bit… the thought of getting fibre in my eye makes me shudder! this looks great though, makes your lashes look really full and totally non-clumpy which is surprising!

false lashes are actually easy, once you know how. my biggest tip is to trim lashes in half, and use them only on the outer corners. it makes them look much more natural, easier to apply, and more comfortable to wear. plus it's economical because you are doubling the amount you have. if you have any spare lashes, give it a try!

I'm exactly the same as you – the thought of brushing on fibre to my actual lashes makes my spine shiver. I'd be so scared that I'd get them in my eye! The effect they have is amazing though, you can really notice the difference. xx

I REALLY want to try this! But I'm curious to know, would you use it as an every day mascara or just for special occasions? As I'm all about thick and long eyelashes and go through many mascaras a month to get it. This idea is perfect for me but if its not for everyday use I think itd be wasted! 🙁 xx

Great idea of showing the before and after photos. I have seen the difference and I will def try out this mascara for I love the look of the lashes.

  32. December 4, 2013 / 9:27 pm

LOVE! I actualy have never heard of this stuff before! I will be trying it soon though, your before and after pictures tell no lies!

BTW, my favorite lengthing mascara is pretty much anything by Dior. (Backstage & Extase are the best though!)

I usually use a swipe of "blinc" at the end to keep my mascara on the entire day, I can laugh/sweat/cry when I use Blinc as a top coat.

Similar in idea, except the gel and fibers are black, blending in with your natural lashes more easily! Check it out!

Lovely review! I've been considering trying this for a while but was a little unsure whether it was worth all the hype, but again, it does sound like a good little product from your review. Might have to brave the sale shoppers and head into town! 🙂 x
