MUA Palette Going for Gold Swatches & Review!

There’s not much I love more (makeup wise) than an eyeshadow palette containing 1) gold & brown shades and 2) shimmer!  Therefore, I think it is pretty apparent already that this new palette from MUA is already one of my new favourites.

Aptly named ‘Going for Gold’, this 10 eyeshadow palette contains a mixture of gold, browns and grey shadows.  All of them (except for one – bottom row (shade 9), which contains noticeable particles of glitter) is creamy, smooth and easy to work with.  I adore the last shadow on the top row (shade 5), which looks almost orange in the pan but glides on to the skin the most dazzling gold, yellow shade.   My least favourite shade in this palette is the pale grey on the bottom row (shade 6) – it is very light and barely noticeable, however the shimmery dark grey on the end of the same row is stunning and perfect for smokey eyes.

I must say that I love the new square pan design – I think the palette looks much neater and it also looks like you are getting a little more product for your money.

This palette is released in Superdrug stores TODAY and retails for only £4 which is an absolutely bargain.

Will you be picking this palette up?  What is your favourite gold eyeshadow?

I've seen so much about these products recently, but can't find the palettes anywhere near me! Obviously time for a trip down to England for £4 makeup 😛

This looks like a nice palette, I prefer the top row to the bottom row though, especially the 3rd and 5th ones. My favourite gold eyeshadow at the moment is the gold maybelline colour tattoo 🙂 xx

This looks like a gorgeous little palette, and I'm sure I would get a ton of use out of it. I adore gold and copper shades at the moment.

MUA palettes are such good value 🙂 I find they fade really quickly on me though, even with a good base.x
