I know deodorant isn’t the most interesting topics to read about on a beauty blog, but it’s something that we use every day and which is actually quite an important product in daily life, so these posts should be helpful to most of you!
I have taken on a challenge – to use a brand spanking new deodorant which is just hitting the market, and put it through a number of tests (think nerve-wracking, embarrassing, stressful situations) to test whether it can control my sweat! The product in questions is the new Sure Women Maximum Protection Deodorants.
This is apparently two times stronger than the normal leading antiperspirants on the market and are perfect to keep you protected and sweat free in all situations. This means you can go about your daily life and not have to worry about getting hot and flustered on a packed rush hour train, or not have to worry about lifting your arms up during a yoga lesson.
These are available in two new forms; confidence (to keep you dryer for longer) and sensitive (if you suffer with sensitive skin and broken skin under the arms). I have been trialling these out for the past two weeks and will be updating you on my challenge on Friday (to put myself through situations which are out of my comfort zone whilst wearing the deodorant) – so pop back then to see how I got on!

I am glad they now do the 'confidence' one. I love this deodrant, the price is rather steap but its the only one that works amazingly!
Well, I will definitely be awaiting the results of your challenge. It seems I am not able to beat my mortal enemy, summer heat in California! I actually use aerosol, antiperspirant/deodorant by Secret. It is the best one I found but I am always on the look for something stronger or at least fragrance free. Let me think about what other hell we could put you through, hi hi. What about Brazilian waxing? Just kidding!!!

I used to use doves maximum protection and it RUINED my armpits. I dry shave and everything with no irritation, so it wasn't like I have sensitive skin. Gah, it was horrid! just be careful!

Hi Katie , I have a question for you….. I have been using the sure maxamume protection spray and all of a sudden it is no where to be found! I have also noticed that Doves maxiumum Protection spray has also gone walkys. I have tryed everywhere!!!! No where is selling it anymore they dont even have a space on the shelf for it in boots , Tecso ect and it is the shops whitch i have bought the spray from in the past. Its just the roll ons everywhere seems to have at the moment. Would u know what is the reason behind this and if they will be coming back on sale soon as i used the sure spray everyday and it was the best dedodarant i have ever used!
P S I have used the roll on whitch is the same colour as the spray u dont seem to have a picture of it on ur blog it was the colour blue , I have used that at nyt as it says on the packed to use it before you go to bed and then the spray in the morning and i fwnd that by the morning the roll was basicly gone and there was no protection for me what so ever…. so i stopped using it at nyt as i fwnd it to be basicly pointless and just used the spray in the morining. I fwnd it would last me all day not needing topped up at all and would last me untill my shower at nyt at that point i would then put my spray on before bed and then again in the morning. This worked much better for me and i DID find protection over nyt with the spray and fantastic protection during the day and evening.

I've stopped using shop deodorant/anti-perspirant because of all of the chemicals and alcohol in it. I'm using a mixture of coconut oil and bicarbonate of soda instead and it is by far the best deodorant product I've used
